Different Stitch Types (with Cute Graphics!)

Proper Cross Stitch

Beginning at one corner of your square, bring your floss through the fabric and to the opposite corner. Repeat with your other corners.

Half Stitch

Similar to a proper cross-stitch, bring your floss through the fabric and to the opposite corner. Do not repeat with your other corners.

Quarter Stitch

Starting from any corner of the square, bring the needle through like normal. End the stitch in the center of the square instead of another corner, piercing through the fabric.

Three-Quarter Stitch

Combination of a half-stitch and a quarter stitch. Do your half-stitch first and end with a quarter-stitch.
